this place was pretty much everything i expected to, it was great. robin as a manager can be tough to talk to sometimes but she makes sure that everything is taken care of effectively and fairly. i held up my end of the deal and she gave my deposit back in full. when i was locked out she was there asap. i paid $1275 for a studio in 2018-2019 and enjoyed the convenience of the location and rooftop amenities.
people have valid concerns in the other reviews so i'd check out all of them. there isn't parking on 7th, so catching rideshares is a bit inconvenient but it isn't a busy street (weird intersection at 42nd) so it wasn't ever a huge problem - it's best to call a rideshare at 40th.
the area is close to the freeway but noise wasn't a concern for me (i was on the other side). it's not the greatest area at night, so this is definitely worth keeping in mind. that said, i never ran into or heard of any serious disruptions.
no air conditioning meant that it can get hotter in summer for sure, but in winter heating wasn't an issue. aside from that, i actually got pretty used to induction cooking only and i used the grill occasionally on the roof.
again, as a loner and someone who appreciated using the burke gilman and didn't own a car, living here in a studio worked out pretty well i'd say. but it definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea, so read through the reviews!
