Cedar Apartments

Great apartments. Single room is awesome. Only drawback is taking the trash out to the front of the building. No trash chute. Also have to go to another building to get mail, but that's only a slight inconvenience. Lots of activities to get to know other residents. Best place to live in campus.

Not exactly cheap, but more sq footage for your buck than you're gonna get almost anywhere else in the District. Especially since they don't charge for utilities. Furniture & appliances are low-grade, but they'll fix anything that breaks. And you can't argue w/ the campus proximity.

They are great UW apartment styled dormitories. The only issue is that the price is ridiculous. Though you do get a single with 3 other roommates.
