I'm was one of the first residence at the Harper and have seen parade of incompetent building managers, but ever since Frances, the current building manager, became the steward of the building, I have nothing but positives things to say about the building.
Frances' management approach is proactive, rather than reactive, and as a result everything from the common areas to the minutia of apartment living is seamlessly wonderful.
Frances has been a personal savior to me on more than one occasion. During the long writer's strike last year, she went above and beyond making me resources that could help lighten the financial load. And more than that, after I was involved in a sudden car accident in which I was rushed to the hospital where I would stay for a month. She made aure that my dog was taken care of and that I came home to a nice, clean apartment. Not only that, but she's made sure that help was available to me when I came home given that I would be physically impaired for some time.
Frances is not only a stellar building manager, but a stellar person. Used to be, I would never recommend moving into this building. Now I encourage anyone from student to families to move in and join our wonderful Harper family.
